Package: xdemineur
Version: 2.1.1-16
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

While puzzling over the screen shots on web pages featuring advanced
'minesweeper' strategies and quasi-formal proofs, I wanted to try a
particular board out. Like a chess puzzle.

Therefore, please consider giving 'xdemineur' a save game feature.

We'd need a file format to save the game in. I don't know if there's
any standard 'save' format for such games. A save file in plaintext
seems simple enough, it could be a 'snapshot', saving the board
geometry, (and perhaps allow for variables describing the board shape,
and tile shape(s) -- future extensibility), mine locations, and
locations opened by the user in one of three states:

    1) flag
    2) '?'
    3) open (left clicked)

Hope this helps...
