Thanks for your work, Marcus, As my l10n NMU is on its way to the archive (moving one day after another towards entering it), I suggest that your update proposal uses it as basis instead of the current version in the archive. That said, I think that your proposal makes sense as an attempt to help Fabio keeping up with phpldamadmin package maintenance. Giving him an opportunity to followup on your proposal is IMHO the best course of action. My suggestion would be CC'ing Fabio personnally (ie not only sending to the BTS): some maintainers, when they have other life priorities, tend to pay less attention, sometimes temporarily, to their BTS or packages mails.....and mailing them personnally sometimes help grabbing their attention.
