Hello, I don't think it's debtags-edit's role to know about bugs, at least not until we have tags that are related to the package bugs instead of the package nature.
Such a feature would be useful in package managers, though. You're probably looking for a package manager that allows you to use tags and access bug reports, and I hope we'll see some soon.
