My package poedit FTBFS on powerpc for a very similar reason. I asked about it on [EMAIL PROTECTED] and they pointed me to this bugreport. See [1] for a full build log of the FTBFS. How can this be solved, should all packages built with a particular version of binutils be rebuild on powerpc?
