Rather than closing this, let me reassign it to > krb5-config and we'll see what we can do there instead. I took a look at this from the krb5-config perspective, but halfway through starting to implement preseeding to let you enable forwardable, I noticed that the krb5.conf file written by krb5-config defaults to setting forwardable = true. So I think that the configuration file that you get by default will already do this.
