Looking at https://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=68446 , the person who fixed the bug upstream doesn't do releases and has been waiting for one since October. This seems to suggest that we shouldn't wait long for upstream. I'm not going to spend any more time on this though, so could somebody else from the pkg-perl group please pick it up?
