This problem is fixed in the updated package which I prepared for QA upload.
However I couldn't find a sponsor nor in mentors neither in QA mail-list.
New source package available on

together with decoupled
http://mentors.debian.net/package/rsbep
Decoupling "rsbep" addresses packaging mess where two upstream components
combined in single dvbackup package and therefore do not use original sources,
but a mix of two upstream sources.
Please note that at the moment "dvbackup" is orphaned (#573466).
