Package: metacity Version 2.10.3-2 Sometimes, when I quite my GNOME session and then log in again later, the GNOME startup process hangs on metacity. I find that I can fix the situation by quitting the session (ctrl-alt-backspace), then from a console removing .gnome2/session and starting a new session. I don't know whether metacity is the cause or something else.
