Package: iptables-persistent
Version: 0.5.3
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?
I ran an apt-get upgrade and iptables-persistent failed with the following
error message:

---
Setting up iptables-persistent (0.5.3) ...
ip6tables-save v1.4.12: Cannot initialize: Address family not supported
by protocol

dpkg: error processing iptables-persistent (--configure):
 subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit

On my system I have disabled IPv6 in the kernel by adding the following
line in my /etc/default/grub

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="ipv6.disable=1"
