 sorry, olly - this is far too long ago for me to remember.  the time
for answering the bugreport was within at most 2 months of the time it
was raised: i now cannot even remember what project it was that i was
working on.. no... wait... yes i can: it was something to do with
python-wx-webkit.

 i didn't see the contrib files - i didn't know they were there.  all
i remember is that i had to copy over absolutely every single _ file
auto-generated in the src directory, and everything then worked
python-wise.
