Btw, the mysql instructions could be : # mysqladmin -u root -p create spip Enter password: # mysql -u root -p spip Enter password: mysql> GRANT ALL ON spip.* TO spip@localhost IDENTIFIED BY 'yourownsecretpass'; Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.00 sec) mysql> flush privileges; Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.00 sec) But YMMV...
