Package: git-email
Version: 1:1.7.8~rc3-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I debianized 1.7.8-rc4 by myself (for the BR I changed the Version to
1:1.7.8~rc3-1).

Today, I wanted to send a trivial patch to LKML [1] and got the following ERROR:

Can't locate Net/SMTP/SSL.pm in @INC (@INC contains:
/usr/share/perl/5.14.2 /etc/perl /usr/local/lib/perl/5.14.2
/usr/local/share/perl/5.14.2 /usr/lib/perl5 /usr/share/perl5
/usr/lib/perl/5.14 /usr/share/perl/5.14 /usr/local/lib/site_perl .) at
/usr/lib/git-core/git-send-email line 1093.

On #git I got help:

[22:58:11] <BinGOs> dileks_: apt-get install libnet-smtp-ssl-perl

After installing libnet-smtp-ssl-perl
(/usr/share/perl5/Net/SMTP/SSL.pm) package, I could send my patch via
'git send-email'.
Should the recommends to libnet-smtp-ssl-perl be installed by default
when installing git-email package?

Regards,
- Sedat -
