I didn't think so, but I may very well be wrong. I can dig out the source and get back to you on that one. I was under the impression that, currently, a person had to send a series of subscribe commands to [email protected]. If this is no longer the case and it gets done automatically, it might be worthwile to update the bottom of http://qa.debian.org/developer.php and http://wiki.debian.org/MigrateToDDAccount with a brief note to that regard.
