Package: dh-make-php Severity: normal dh-make-pear currently results in duplicate documentation being placed in /usr/share/doc/<debian-package-name> and /usr/share/php/docs/<pear-package-name>.
For that matter, dh-make-pear allows documentation which should be in /usr/share/docs to go into /usr/share/php/docs at all. A brief discussion of this matter on debian-webapps resulted in the suggestion that /usr/share/php/docs/<pear-package-name> be a symlink to /usr/share/doc/<debian-package-name>. I am not familiar enough with the internals of dh-make-php to suggest how this should happen, but it seems that it shouldn't be very hard to do in a programatic fashion. And this would have the further benefit that you would no longer need to worry about populating debian/docs. :-) Charles -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (800, 'stable'), (70, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-2-386 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
