Hi Debian Science people, first of all, thanks for making mpi-defaults use openmpi for hurd, even if only in the version available in experimental.
Given that
- an MPI transition is not yet at sight
- an mpi-defaults upload is quite cheap (even for buildds)
- we (Debian Hurd people) could find installable mpi-defaults-{bin,dev}
packages a great help for our buildds
would it be possible to upload a mpi-defaults version (say, 0.6.1) to
unstable which would only change the default for Hurd to openmpi instead
of the (unavailable on Hurd, and dead) lam?
