Absolutely nothing.
But it's nice to have gtk client to package: ssh port forward + local client and that's all you need to connect to an OpenERP instance. webclient on virtual domains & firewalls are more trickier to get to sometimes. Overall gtk client overall still has it's use cases.
Sure, it's just my personal priority list.
