Package: isoquery

Hi Tobias,

Thanks for developing isoquery, it's really useful.

Since isoquery has been rewritten in Python, it's a lot slower than it
used to be. In the Debian website, since www-master has been upgraded to
Squeeze, the build is significantly longer when we rebuild (once a day)
the w.d.o/international/l10n/ part of the website. isoquery is used to
display the name of the language and country on each stats page, for
each translation, see e.g. the titles of the following pages:

        http://www.debian.org/international/l10n/po/fr_FR
        http://www.debian.org/international/l10n/po/fr_FR.de
        http://www.debian.org/international/l10n/po/fr_FR.fr
        http://www.debian.org/international/l10n/po/fr_FR.ja
        http://www.debian.org/international/l10n/po/fr_FR.ru

With the Lenny version of isoquery, 0.16-1, the rebuild of the English
part of the website, was:

~/webwml/english/international/l10n$ time make install
[…]

real 15m38.250s
user 0m57.700s
sys 0m21.621s

With the current version, 1.5-1, it takes significantly more time:

real 20m30.436s
user 4m24.157s
sys 0m51.967s

Since this part of the website is available in 14 languages (so this
part of the website is build 14 times), the full run after the daily
data update broke the four hours limit (the website is rebuilt six
times a day), and that's why we notice the problem.

I would love if you could improve those performances.

Regards

David
