If you run "gpk-application" in a terminal and then run System->Update package lists, does it update the list? If yes, this is not a bug ^^ PackageKit/Apt automatically refresh package lists in the background and you have to run a manual refresh if you want to see updated packages instantly. Cheers, Matthias
