And there is the binutils dependency issue -- unstable has moved to a cvs snapshot -- if I make gcl depend on this it will further delay testing migration. I think the best is to make the 2.6.7 gcl deb build its own binutils and sidestep the issue. Have a question regarding this out to debian-devel.
