Hi,
the patch you linked may or may not work, and its author
does not have an email address on that website, so I can’t
contact him. I could apply that patch but not without having
a small testcase (i.e. a program that triggers an error in
the syscall, which can be used to test that gdb condition).
Unless you can provide a testcase and a working patch (see
Felix' binutils remark) I'm tentatively handling this as
a wontfix issue. (Also, there are probably more files that
need unwind support.)
