Just tried boincmgr again: maximizing the window helps, afterwards the menu is back. When I switch back to a less-than-maximal window size, the menu is still there. But when I close the program and start it again, the menu is missing again. It doesn't matter if i close it in maximized state or not. I have to maximize the window again to get the menu back (even if it is already maximized from the start).
