Hello >From my point of view this bug shoudn't be closed. I have tested 280.13.really.275.36-1_amd64 version of nvidia non-free drivers with Xserver 1.11.1. It still works very slow with KDE (with Gnome not so bad). Resizing of windows takes 2-5 seconds (normally worked smooth). What is more this version of nvidia driver has corrupted OpenCL libraries, because it is not possible to compile any OpecCL kernel. I have also tested version 285.03 from sgfxi and the problem also exists (but OpenCL works properly). So I have to downgrade xorg again to older version to make my system possible to use.
