Package: brasero Version: 3.0.0-4 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
I inserted a DVD in my DVD player to copy it. I also inserted blank DVD+R media in my writer. Brasero gives me a dialog with: "Select disc to copy" which contains an empty combobox, but when I click it, it shows the DVD I want to copy (so far so kind of good) "Select disc to write to", containing "Blank DVD+R Disc: 1.6GB of free space" and "image file" It is a 4.7GB DVD+R, so that information is wrong... Below this, I see "Please replace the disc with a supported CD or DVD" So, I can't copy it? When I select Image file, I still see this message and I can still only choose Cancel. So, can I simply not copy this DVD? Then I tried with k3b and everything just works :S So, it seems to be a bug in brasero... -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.0.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages brasero depends on: ii brasero-common 3.0.0-4 ii gnome-icon-theme 3.2.1.2-1 ii gstreamer0.10-plugins-base 0.10.35-1 ii gvfs 1.8.2-2 ii libatk1.0-0 2.2.0-2 ii libbrasero-media3-1 3.0.0-4 ii libc6 2.13-21 ii libcairo-gobject2 1.10.2-6.1 ii libcairo2 1.10.2-6.1 ii libfontconfig1 2.8.0-3 ii libfreetype6 2.4.7-2 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.24.0-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.28.8-1 ii libgstreamer-plugins-base0.10-0 0.10.35-1 ii libgstreamer0.10-0 0.10.35-1 ii libgtk-3-0 3.0.12-2 ii libice6 2:1.0.7-2 ii libnautilus-extension1a 3.0.2-4 ii libpango1.0-0 1.29.4-2 ii libsm6 2:1.2.0-2 ii libtotem-plparser17 2.32.6-1 ii libtracker-sparql-0.10-0 0.10.26-1 ii libxml2 2.7.8.dfsg-5 brasero recommends no packages.
