There are two problems with the Suggests package list of mgp. First, many packages are obsolete: ttf-openoffice, ttf-xtt-wadalab-gothic, ttf-xtt-watanabe-mincho, watanabe-vfont.
Second, When I upgraded from 1.11b-1 to -2 (*just* before the sarge release), suddenly the fonts were no longer antialiased, and are now very ugly. (On the other hand, Japanese works again, whereas it didn't in 1.11-b.) I have all of the Suggests packages installed (including the obsolete ones), so it seems that some font packages are missing from the list and should be added.
Do you get pretty anti-aliased fonts in English and Japanese with version 1.11b-2? If so, I'd love to know how...
