Package: pptp-linux
Version: 1.7.2-6
Severity: normal
By default, /etc/ppp/peers/provider and /etc/ppp/peers/dsl-proivider
are owned root:dip, and mode 0640 (not world-readable). however,
pptpsetup creates files in /etc/ppp/peers/ that is mode 0644.
I realize that there is no secret stored here (if there is a password,
it gets stored in /etc/ppp/chap-secrets), but either these files
should actually be world-readable (in which case, feel free to retitle
and reassign this bug to the ppp package), or pptpsetup should use the
proper mode.
Thanks for maintianing pptp-linux in debian!
