Hi Holger, I just figured out that having both foo and foo- in the list of packages to be installed isn't actually something that install_packages itself deals with. Rather it's the underlying package manager that cleans up the mess. Just try
apt-get install foo foo- for some package foo that isn't actually installed. If, however, foo is already installed, the package foo will be removed. I'm not sure whether this should at all be considered a feature of FAI, hence is there a need for documenting it!? Best, Michael
