I use icewm with icewm-gnome-support installed, and gnome-settings-daemon, gnome-panel, and nm-applet running. I like that slightly better than wicd :/. As of v 0.9.0, I clearly need to run polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1 as well. I'm not sure how many other people use network-manger without the full gnome stack, or if there's a way to detect the absence of polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1 or start it for them. -- Peter Eckersley [email protected] Technology Projects Director Tel +1 415 436 9333 x131 Electronic Frontier Foundation Fax +1 415 436 9993 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
