Package: debian-el Version: 24.11-1 Severity: wishlist In my last report, I noticed the pseudo-header field File:
File: /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/debian-el/debian-bug.el There are sub-menus for the Severity and Tags pseudo-header fields. There should also be one for the File pseudo-header field. It would be extremely helpful to populate the sub-menu with the files in the package. For those packages with lots of files (where "lots" is defined by the usual number of menu items that is known to fit on most screens), the files can be partitioned into multiple submenus based upon a directory structure. For directories with lots of files, the use of a-j, k-z, or even aa-aj, etc. sub-menus will help partition the directories further. If there are other pre-defined pseudo-header fields, it would be nice to create menu items should be created for them too. If there are a lot, I guess there should be a sub-menu for the Pseudo-Header under the Header menu item. If this is the case, perhaps this report should be cloned into a separate report. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-1-686 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US) Versions of packages debian-el depends on: ii binutils 2.16.1cvs20050902-1 The GNU assembler, linker and bina ii emacs21 [emacsen] 21.4a-1 The GNU Emacs editor ii reportbug 3.17 reports bugs in the Debian distrib Versions of packages debian-el recommends: ii dlocate 0.5-0.1 fast alternative to dpkg -L and dp ii groff-base 1.18.1.1-9 GNU troff text-formatting system ( ii wget 1.10.1-1 retrieves files from the web -- no debconf information -- Bill Wohler <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://www.newt.com/wohler/ GnuPG ID:610BD9AD Maintainer of comp.mail.mh FAQ and MH-E.
