OK then, I'll hold reportbug back, but I had no dependency errors installing
reportbug 6.2.1. with python 2.5, so there might be some dependency
requirement not being explicitly listed in the package.

Any actual package dependency should be correctly listed.

reportbug 6.2.1 requires python >= 2.5 according to the dependency listing, and I was running python 2.5 when the crash happened.
