Package: libarchive-dev
Version: 2.8.5-1
Severity: normal

Upgrading libarchive1 and libarchive-dev today, from 2.8.5-1 to 2.8.5-2,
aborted because of /usr/share/man/man5/tar.5.gz transitioning from one
package to another (my guess):

  dpkg: error processing
  /var/cache/apt/archives/libarchive-dev_2.8.5-2_amd64.deb (--unpack):
  trying to overwrite `/usr/share/man/man5/tar.5.gz', which is also in
  package libarchive1 2.8.5-1

(of course running apt-get -f install afterwards fixed the issue, as
the new libarchive1 was already installed)

Cheers,

       Fred
