ipe fails to build on s390x and sparc64, as on these architectures -fpic and -fPIC behaves differently. -fpic has a limit on the size of the GOT, while -fPIC doesn't. It's therefore better to use the latter. The patch below fixes the issue, would it be possible to apply it in the next upload?
