Babel and tex are something well known in (la)TeX world. Could you add
please something saying that it is not a tex engine in the
description.

babel universal macro processor is really bad from this point of view
because macro is used in tex field and means a collection of procedure
and function.

Please found a wording with no tex meaning.

Something like
Babel universal preprocessor for programming language

Thanks
