Aha, the related bug is #638210. It is already fixed, but on amd64 it is still lacking a rebuilt /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/4.6.1/../../../../lib/libgdal1.7.0.so: undefined reference to `libdap::RCReader::instance()' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status but that seems to be ongoing already, so let's give it a bit more time.
