Package: smc Version: 1.9-4 Severity: wishlist The following is somewhat abstract, as I don't know cdbs.
Please add the following command to the build rule:
po4a -v -f debian/po4a.cfg
Add debian/po4a.cfg as such:
[po_directory] debian/
[type: man] debian/smc.6 $lang:debian/smc.$lang.6 \
add_$lang:?*debian/smc.$lang.add opt:"-k 20"
And, of course, add po4a to your build depends.
Finally, add the generated man pages to debian/manpages when
they become available. Before the first run, you have to
touch debian/smc.pot
otherwise the build will fail.
Once the pot file is created, do not hesitate to contact me to provide
you a German translation.
If you are very kind, you could podebconf-report-po(1) to call for
translations for the man page (don't worry about the programm name, it
works fine for man page translations as well).
