After downloading a new version of the package with apt, when doing the packages installation, the wifi connection went down. The installer couldn't find the firmware to download but the old firmware had already been removed. This way, I was left without wireless firmware and wasn't able to use my wifi. In my case I had to use a cell phone to download the firmware by hand and install it on my system. But the deb should only remove old firmware once it's sure the new one has been downloaded. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
