Confirmed this is also a problem in 4.1 when compiled with FreeBSD.

Narrowed down the issue.  The corrupted pcap is generated if ntop is launched
with the -d flag.  Was able to launch without -d with flags to run as a
webserver with -l from startup script but added '&' to put the process in the
background.  When doing this, it produces usable pcaps (at least in FreeBSD
8.1)
