So indeed it's using the XSync extension from Xorg. And it works just fine here, mousing as well as typing on the keyboard resets the timer for the “fade” timeout. So it's definitely not an xfpm issue, maybe in Xorg or in your screensaver. Regards, -- Yves-Alexis
