Hi Josua, and thanks for your detailed analysis, I'd be happy to close this bug, _but_ I don't want to lose information: in short, this is a kernel bug, right? Are you aware of an opened bug for the upstream Linux kernel ? If not, I propose to reassign this bug to the Debian kernel package and help its maintainers be aware of the issue. Opinions ?
