Package: opensc
Version: 0.12.1-1.1
Severity: important
I am accustomed to accessing my cryptoflex 32K eGate USB token via the
openCT framework with opensc (including libopensc-pkcs11.so, via
pam-p11 and openssh's pkcs11 support).
however, with opensc 0.12.1-1.1, my card is no longer detected with
opensc-tool.
reverting to 0.11.13-1.1, i see it listed as:
Nr. Driver Name
0 openct Schlumberger E-Gate
But it appears that opensc in the newer version only uses the pcsc
backend, not the openct backend.
This seems like a significant regression to me, and nothing is even
mentioned in NEWS.
Is there some upgrade path that i'm expected to follow to be able to
continue to use my smartcard with pkcs11?
