I'm currently in the process of trying to get OLPC's libertas blobs integrated into linux-firmware.git. Once they've been merged, I'd be pretty happy with having libertas-firmware removed from the archive and the firmware blobs coming from firmware-nonfree. I'll update this bug once it's been merged.
