Package: bluez Version: 4.94-3 Followup-For: Bug #635910 Upgrading bluez to 4.94-3 (from unstable) didn't help; the mouse still cannot reconnect.
To reproduce the problem I did: 1. /etc/init.d/bluetooth stop 2. rm -rf /var/lib/bluetooth/* # to start with clean files 3. /etc/init.d/bluetooth start 4. # push reset button on bluetooth mouse, makes it visible 5. hcitool scan 6. BTADDR=00:..... # bluetooth address as seen by hcitool 7. bluez-simple-agent hci0 $BTADDR # asks for PIN, 0000 works for me 8. bluez-test-device trusted $BTADDR yes 9. bluez-test-input connect $BTADDR After step 9, the mouse is working until restart of bluetoothd (e.g. "/etc/init.d/bluetooth restart") or power off/on of the mouse. After powering off and on the mouse (or reboot etc.), I need to press the mouse reset button again and execute the command in step 9 above; then the mouse is working again. The same mouse is working fine with an Kubuntu 11.04 system on x86_64 (bluez 4.91-0ubuntu1). Which additional information can I provide to help fixing this problem?
