I could not find the function : create vertical or horizontal guide line symetric to vertical/horizontal middle part of the selection or image. This function similar to professional photo application could be addeed to your gimp, excellent release although the great number of bugs, issues, or wishes. Thank you coding gimp, because otherwise we would had no possibiltiy to do photo under linux. I hope that I help others too, since gimp has lot of progress still, althoguh huge efforst. Time is money and heatlh.
