first of all, using the fedora template on debian is supported kind of best-effort only, as most debian people (including me) don't know enough about fedora to fix bugs in the template for it. having said that, could you please try to reproduce it with 0.7.4.2-0.3? I've tried, and it failed differently (already with fedebootstrap, so i'm a bit out of luck). Also, in the future please consider reporting any issues regarding the fedora template directly to upstream, as outline above we're not likely to fix that ourselfs anyway.
