Maybe at least we should provide something like Ubuntu has already done, to improve the default user experience.
Ubuntu ships different fontconfig configurations for different choices of languages using language-selector. We still don't have such thing, and I believe language-selector's current implementation isn't ideal enough to give user the ability to customize their configuration. But I'd like to have some language based configuration examples left in conf.avail to make people's life easier (so many people don't need to write/share their own .fonts.conf anymore). -- Regards, Aron Xu
