This is _not_ a bug in pinfo. The tag table of the bash info file is broken: all offsets in the tag table point to positions somewhere in the middle of a node instead of to the \0x1f just before the start of the node. The reason GNU info displays the page fine, is because it has some smart way of detecting corrupt tag tables.
