Package: alsaplayer-common Version: 0.99.76-7 alsaplayer --verbose
Left click on left button, select "CD Player (CDDA)", instead of playing the cd, I get a seg fault. AlsaPlayer 0.99.76 (C) 1999-2003 Andy Lo A Foe <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> and others. Output plugin: OSS output v1.0 Loading reader plugin: HTTP reader v1.3 Loading reader plugin: File reader v1.1 Loading Input plugin: Ogg Vorbis player v1.2 Loading Input plugin: CDDA player v1.2 Loading Input plugin: libsndfile plugin v0.1 Loading Input plugin: flac player v1.2 Loading Input plugin: MAD MPEG audio plugin v1.01 Loading Input plugin: MikMod player v1.0 Interface plugin: GTK+ interface v1.2 Searching for CDDB entries on /home/jim/.alsaplayer/cddb ... Segmentation fault The problem is not in the cddb lookup - it's successful. It's not in accessing the drive. If I don't have a disc in I get: CDDA: read TOC ioctl failed after the GTK+ interface is loaded, but no seg fault and alsaplayer continues to work. I noticed that a change was made to cdda.h for version 0.99.76-3, so I downgraded to 0.99.76-1 and have no problems.
