I tag the bug important but it might be grave. After the update from 1.7.2-2 to 1.7.3-1 my gnupg card stops working anymore. Gnupg is not able to access the card. Downgrading the software helps to bring it back to work. I have a strace of the gpg --card-status run with the buggy version. Now I use the downgraded version. I can provide that strace output on request. - -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (800, 'unstable'), (700, 'stable'), (60, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.38.6 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE, LC_CTYPE=de_DE (charmap=ISO-8859-1) (ignored: LC_ALL set to de_DE) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages pcscd depends on: ii adduser 3.113 add and remove users and groups ii libc6 2.13-7 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libccid [pcsc-ifd-handler] 1.4.4-1 PC/SC driver for USB CCID smart ca ii libudev0 171-1 libudev shared library ii lsb-base 3.2-27 Linux Standard Base 3.2 init scrip pcscd recommends no packages. pcscd suggests no packages. - -- no debconf information - -- Klaus Ethgen http://www.ethgen.ch/ pub 4096R/4E20AF1C 2011-05-16 Klaus Ethgen <kl...@ethgen.de> Fingerprint: 85D4 CA42 952C 949B 1753 62B3 79D0 B06F 4E20 AF1C -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (GNU/Linux) iQGcBAEBCgAGBQJOAn45AAoJEK8RO3RE9oVxSawL/2FDSYp2sx5tFFJ1k3MHTUmG ORKC6sW9jdHOcNYjumWGo1wbsKfJLmZ1GDTpq7CmhWcMSiCYBSE9Vd9ygF5lFwUV sxb2myFH1kaejNiUZb/pXdlDCzS52nGZjWQHmVVXH4BiIxKXVfw3GnLTL0KcCSrS Hf1nROaR6aBdFk75RychMtR3qhJrkyi+6lrsyP1RXZ6uC5iagMnA7nHbP/3l5hPn D8YFhWxGrs2R07Vww+4IoXvf7N7PBS6Ug6lzAzz+/qxsEbbE238y2VlUoPLnH+51 AgdfGLMzqUUQU8eLEQt04+c5aXsvVuDvpvUkx2u0HqIf6+QAAkvTEsxIfO0tl0xX 7AbLgFDiTFUGZiqjSb++XOtMuGajQXR4Or6BJIQ/4Aira7RuzF8p0fkeS0JCAKwB nynlsbh/Mj3UVaGqkR4BFTnwLCxqnX4o7Q8z/d6Boc6w/SxRW3bqbZouhEFLRMfc gD8B7g6GALDOkWnX+sj3y0cetD9CvVhyp56xM1c4CQ== =bAFQ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
