I connect via ssh and using fish under kde. I use the following krb5.conf http://security.fnal.gov/krb5.conf I have a vlaid ticket! Reading the changelog between 1.8* and 1.9* does not help me as I am not familiar at all how kerberos works, but I think it might have something to do with gssapi.
When trying to connect I get forwarded to "cryptocard" login. Downgrading to 1.8.* from stable connects me as successfully. I downgrade libkrb5-3, libkrb5support0, libgssapi-krb5-2. The latter I need to downgrade because virtual box complains but kerberos connect works with the newest libgssapi-krb5-2.
