Joey, do you have any ideas on how to address this issue? Could "empty" options
be treated specially? Should a special keyword be used for such a case?

In case you think this should better be addressed in cdbs, please reassign the
bug. In don't really care if this is handled in cdbs or debhelper as long as I
have a way to skip certain binary packages when using dh_strip in cdbs (when
using a current compat level).
