And it looks good to me, I just noticed some mixed style indentation (space/tab) in debian/git-daemon.init but that's just nitpicking. I might also suggest to put the "Author:" field back in the init script just after "### END INIT INFO" so we know who to say thank you to. Hope to see git-daemon-sysvinit in debian soon.
